Pongal Celebration

    The Pongal celebration of Bethany navajeevan college of Education was held through virtual mode. The program began with opening remarks of Mss. Maria Subani Santhiya, first year student teachers sang the prayer song to invoke the blessings of God almighty, followed by the prayer song. Mis. Y. Esther, first year student teachers welcomed everyone with a warm smile.             To highlighted the significance of the Pongal festival.  Miss. Ancy Rose, second year student teacher shared a marvelous speech about the festival.  Then, Mis. Arunthathi and group, first year student teacher sang a wonderful song. Fr. Dr. John Christopher,  OIC, shared the significance of the festival and food and shared his wishes.  Then, a short clipping of Pongal celebration was displayed. Next, Dr.S.K.                  World Mental Health Day 2021                                  Report Bethany Navajeevan College of Education observed the “world Mental Health day. 08-10-3081 at 11.00am at Bethany auditorium based on the theme Mental Health care for all Let’s malice it a reality. ART AND DRAMA

                     REPORT         Bethany Navajeevan College of Education Organized the Art and Drama classes on 29-09-2021 and 30-09-2021 at 9.30 am in the Bethany auditorium. First day, in the morning session welcome address was delivered by Ms. N. Nanthiny, Second year student teacher who welcomed everyone with her warmful words. Then Dr. S. K. Bernet principal gave an introductory speech about the importance of art and drama in education. Then the demonstration class was conducted by Mrs. k Manimala, Msc D.C.E, art instructor. She motivated the student teachers with her inspiring talk and along with that she taught us tamil songs and tamil motivating quotes. On the first day the instructor asked to write a letter to our mother and bring it on the next day.                          REPUBLIC DAY                                 REPORT The Republic day celebration of Bethany Navajeevan college of Education was held through virtual mode on 26th January, 2022. The programme began with the opening remarks of Miss. Bertin Brajitha and Miss Gifty. To Invoke the blessings of God Almighty, second year student teachers sang the prayer song followed by the prayer song Mrs. Y. Ancy, first year student teacher welcomed everyone with a cheerful smile. Then, Dr. A. Jagajeeth Paul, honoured the sacrifices of the heros who made this day a special day for our country, through his introductory .                               EMPOWERMENT                                                             REPORT                                                                                        A seminar on 'Empowerment' was held on 23-09-2021 in the smart class room . The program started at 10.05a.m with the opening remarks and introduction by Ms. Clincy Emie , first year student teacher . Ms. Ajisha, first year student teacher welcomed everyone with a warm smile . Then Mrs. H.P. Lynsha Helen Prabha , Asst.Prof of English gave an introductory speech on the topic "Empowerment ". The other faculty members were also with us during the programme .                     The resource person Dr. A. Jagajeeth Paul highlighted the definition of employment . It is a process that provides greater autonomy. The word employment refers to two undeniable and powerful words , responsibility and ownership . Empowerment is working independently towards common objectives.

               Seminar on “Yes, I can”        Bethany Navajeevan College of education conducted “A special class on psychology” on 24 /03 /2022 at 11.00 am in the seminar hall. Rev. Dr. John Christopher OIC, correspondent welcomed the gathering and gave the introductory speech. He introduced the resource person                The resource person, Dr. K. S. Chauhan, National commissioner of Hindustan scout and guide, explained about the topic “Yes, I can”. The session began with five motivational quotes that every student teacher should say to themselves daily. By asking some questions he checked the IQ level of students. To motivate the student teachers the resource person shown an example that 2+2=5 which is mathematically wrong but theoretically right which means we should put extra effort daily to be extraordinary.             The resource person also shared some remedies for health issues.
