                      A seminar on 'Empowerment' was held on 23-09-2021 in the smart class room . The program started at 10.05a.m with the opening remarks and introduction by Ms. Clincy Emie , first year student teacher . Ms. Ajisha, first year student teacher welcomed everyone with a warm smile . Then Mrs. H.P. Lynsha Helen Prabha , Asst.Prof of English gave an introductory speech on the topic "Empowerment ". The other faculty members were also with us during the programme .

                    The resource person Dr. A. Jagajeeth Paul highlighted the definition of employment . It is a process that provides greater autonomy. The word employment refers to two undeniable and powerful words , responsibility and ownership . Empowerment is working independently towards common objectives.

                    He emphasized upon the meanings of employment . Powers , growth,moral , learning, access, self image, positive thinking and options are several words that refers to empowerment.

                   Topics such as the benefits of employment, elements of employment, types of employment, need of employment, five broad approach to empowerment, process of employment, dimensions of employment, significance of employment, characteristics of empowered employees, employment opportunities, principal of empowering and disadvantages of empowerment were discussed in the seminar.

                    Employee employment is another significant topic that was discussed in the seminar ways of employee employment, rationale, inhabitors of employment , management role in employment and implementing empowerment , process of employee empowerment and it's benefits, characteristics of employee empowerment goals of employee empowerment , drawbacks and success factors are the sub topics that was discussed under the topic , employee empowerment .

                   Women empowerment, principal of women empowerment , pathways of women empowerment, role of mass media in empowerment classification of empowerment, psychological empowerment, sociological empowerment, economic empowerment, philosophical empowerment , political empowerment and women in mass media are some of the important topics that was discussed under the topic women empowerment.

                    Then Ms. Y. Esther , first year student teacher shared her views on the topic " Empowerment" .

                    In the end Mr. Inigo Wilson, first year student teacher delivered the vote of thanks and thus the programme came to an end .
