ART AND DRAMA

                     REPORT

        Bethany Navajeevan College of Education Organized the Art and Drama classes on 29-09-2021 and 30-09-2021 at 9.30 am in the Bethany auditorium. First day, in the morning session welcome address was delivered by Ms. N. Nanthiny, Second year student teacher who welcomed everyone with her warmful words. Then Dr. S. K. Bernet principal gave an introductory speech about the importance of art and drama in education. Then the demonstration class was conducted by Mrs. k Manimala, Msc D.C.E, art instructor. She motivated the student teachers with her inspiring talk and along with that she taught us tamil songs and tamil motivating quotes. On the first day the instructor asked to write a letter to our mother and bring it on the next day. She told that writing letter to one's mother will make them realise their love towards their mother. The Second assignment is to make a trendy bangle from a worn out old bangle. Afternoon Session moved very fast, because we student teachers started to rehearse for the next day programmes. 

          On the second day ,the morning session has began at 9.30 am. At first, the instructor talked about new trends in the teaching profession. she told four types of art were given important in our B. Ed curriculum. They are performing art, plastic art, decorating art and pictorial art. They are useful for Student teachers for making teaching aids. In the evening session prayer song was sung by premi Ruth and team. It made us to felt the presence of God. Then a wonderful dance performance was given by Mrs. Sathiyavathi and team. The dance was very enjoyable. Then a drama was performed by Aswin and team. It was awesome and gave us a thought provoking message. Then Mrs. T. Irin Jeba, was The Was , Asst prof of mathematics has gave the Concluding remarks about the Session. Student teachers shared their views and feedback about the art and drama class. Then the program came to an end.

Then Ms. Y. Esther, First year student teacher proposed the vote thanks. The master of ceremony was done by S.J. Jesly Mary ,second year student teacher. The classes finally ended with the national anthem.
