Pongal Celebration

    The Pongal celebration of Bethany navajeevan college of Education was held through virtual mode. The program began with opening remarks of Mss. Maria Subani Santhiya, first year student teachers sang the prayer song to invoke the blessings of God almighty, followed by the prayer song. Mis. Y. Esther, first year student teachers welcomed everyone with a warm smile.

            To highlighted the significance of the Pongal festival.  Miss. Ancy Rose, second year student teacher shared a marvelous speech about the festival.  Then, Mis. Arunthathi and group, first year student teacher sang a wonderful song. Fr. Dr. John Christopher,  OIC, shared the significance of the festival and food and shared his wishes.  Then, a short clipping of Pongal celebration was displayed. Next, Dr.S.K. Bernet, principal of Bethany Navajeevan college of Education,  shared his greetings and wishes on the special day. Then, first year student teachers shared their Pongal wishes with a joyful and cheerful smile. Miss. Nisha and group, second year student teachers displayed few things that we get from our mother nature. Then, Miss. Jewish and group, second year student teachers sang a wonderful song. The program came to an end with that vote of thanks by Miss. Praga Vincy, second year student teacher.
