WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION REPORT
Bethany Navajeevan collage of education celebrated the international women’s day on 9.03.2023 at Bethany Auditorium.
The theme for the celebration was “Breaking the bias today for sustainable tomarrow”. The cultural programme began with the invoking the God’s benevolent presence by Nisha and group.
Then Esther of first year welcomed the gathering followed by Melbha and group of first year sang a song about the importance of women in the society. After the song our correspondent Rev.
Dr.John Christopher OIC talked about the importance of women and the duties that are performed on daily aspects. Then Abisha and group sang a melodious song. It was followed by a speech by Gifty E.L. She talked about the bias if women and quoted the biblical women. It was really good to listen. Then a drama was performed by Suma and group. They show cased the difficulties women face in the society and thematic dance was performed by carmel and group and it was full of energy and we enjoyed watching it. Finally vote of thanks was said by Anusha by second year and the whole programme was anchored S.R Rajisha of first year.
