      QUALITIES OF A GOOD TEACHER 

               A seminar on "Qualities of a Good Teacher" was held on 04-10-2021 in the smart class room. The program started sharply at 11:00am Mr. J. L .Inigo Wilson warmly welcomed the gathering. Next Mrs. S. R. Ajila Angle Asst. prof of Biological Science gave an introductory speech about the topic "Qualities of Good Teacher" and the resource person. In this seminar other all the faculty members were also with us . 

                 Then the seminar was presented by the resource person Mrs. T. Irin Jeba Asst. Pro of Mathematics. She highlighted the qualities of a good teacher, communication skill, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience are some of the qualities of a good teacher. She also stressed the characteristics of effective teaching which include an democratic class room, adaptable, strong, value in real world learning, sharing best practices and love for life long learning.

                     Then we had a small discussion about effective teacher's . According to teachers their ability to develop trust, productive relationships, fill the classroom with positivity and patiently handling the challenging situations. The most frequent response is that great teachers should develop a good relationship with students. Also the teacher provided her high quality to increase the student achievement. Then we learner the seven roles of an efficient teacher namely authoritative, delegator, prompter , participant, demonstrator, lecturer and resource person. 

                     Next the student teachers had given their feedback about the seminar. 

                     Finally Ms. B. Vibisha Raj , delivered the vote of thanks. The Master of Ceremony was done by Ms. D.G. Ancy Mol. The seminar served as an eye opener to all the prospective teachers.
