         Bethany Navajeevan college of education inaugurated B.Ed. 14 th batch with the glowing lighting ceremony by first year student teachers. After the lighting ceremony the oath taking event took place with the guidance of our principal, Dr.S.K.Bernet. It was followed by a prayer song by Nisha and group. They invoked the blessing of God through their prayer song.

         The dignitaries on the dias lighted the lamp as the tradition of initiating the inauguration programme. Next, Dr.S.K.Bernet, principal welcomed everyone and explained about rules and regulations of college to the first year student teachers and their parents with his pleasant words. Then a welcome dance was performed by Sreeja and group, the song and steps added more rhythm and spice to the programme.

         As a token of love, second year student teachers presented badges to the first year student teachers and welcomed them to the family of Bethany. It was followed by the presidential address of our correspondent Rev.Dr.John Christopher OIC. In his address he welcomed fresher’s and ask them to be best in their teaching to get job and congratulated second year student teachers for arranging the inauguration programme in a grand manner.

            The fusion dance was performed by Nanthiny and group and it added more colours to the programme. Then, the second year student teachers presented the video to show the one year gloxy of their experience virtual mode celebration and learning to the freshers. Though the video was short, it contains multiple dimensions of emotion of one year journey and also about college. Finally in the end vote of thanks was proposed by Gifty and she thanked everyone for their co-ordination for the successful programme. The whole programme was anchored by Mrs.Sathiyavathy and Ms.Ahisha Vijimol in a delightful way
