               CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

         Bethany Navajeevan Institutions Celebrated Christmas on 23/12/2021 in the Bethany common auditorium. The Christmas celebration revolved around the theme “Peace and Joy ". The programme started at 9.30 a.m with a prayer song by Bethany angels. Then the lighting of lamp was done by dignitories on the dias. Then a student from Bethany Navajeevan Senior Secondary School welcomed the gathering. Next angel dance was performed by the Senior Secondary School students, followed by the Senior Secondary School student's carol song. Then the Christmas message was given by Fr. George Thomas OIC, Matric Principal. Then Christmas skit was performed by the Senior Secondary School students, it added colour to the programme. A dance drama was performed by the B.Ed. trainees, it made us to visualise the birth of Jesus Christ in the way of dance. The felicitation was given by Fr. Dr. John Christopher OIC, Correspondent of Bethany Navajeevan Institution. Santa claus dance was performed by the Senior Secondary School students, it was really fantastic. Then a tableau was performed it showcase the birth of child Jesus. A western dance was performed by the B.Ed. trainees. To share our joy, cake cutting ceremony, was held, followed by the B.Ed. trainee's carol song. Then regarding to children's day celebration, Senior Secondary School teachers surprised students by their folk dance. The vote of thanks was proposed by a student from Senior secondary School. Subsequently in the afternoon, the programme started with a prayer song. Then a student from Matric Hr.sec. School welcomed by gathering. A dance Of greeting was performed by the B.Ed. trainees. The Christmas message was given by Fr. George Thomas, OIC, Matric Principal. As a part of Children's day Celebration a dance was performed by the Matric teachers. To recall our tradition Villupattu was performed by the B.Ed. trainees. Next a carol song was sang by the Matric students. Then a skit was performed by the Matric teachers about the struggles faced by the students. The cake cutting ceremony was held as a part of expressing our joy. Then a carol song was sang by the B.Ed. trainees. The felicitation was given by Fr.Dr. John Christopher OIC, correspondent of Bethany Navajeevan Institution. Followed by the Christmas wishes by Dr. S.k. Bernet, Principal of Bethany Navajeevan College of Education. The programme came to an end with vote of thanks proposed by a student from Matric Hr.Sec.school. All over, the Christmas programme were delightful for us.
