             GANDHI JAYATHI

    Bethany Navajeevan College of Education celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on 01-10-2021 at Bethany auditorium. We celebrated the day on the theme “Sharing Peace Together with Teaching”. The program was performed with two teams. Each team consists of three members and one judge for judgement . The given topic for debate is , which language is good for education in the present day. English or mother tongue. Both the team members performed very nice. Each members brought their points in a good manner and at last the two teams got won . After that only the program began . The prayer song was sung by Ms. Premi Ruth and group our second year student teachers . It made us to feel the presence of God . Next Ms. Benila our second year student teacher of English department welcomed the gathering. Next our professor Dr. A. Jegajeeth Paul gave the introductory speech . He spoke about the significance of the day . His introduction gave us more information . Next our student teacher Ms. B. S. Shini gave a wonderful speech about Gandhi in English. Then a wonderful dance performance was given by Ms. Jesly and team , our second year student teachers . The dance performance was presented on the theme “ Back to School”. The dance was very enjoyable . It was followed by a Tamil speech by Ms. Jenisha of second year and the speech gave us more information about Gandhiji . Then the program come to an end Ms. R. Ancy Aileen first year student teacher proposed the vote of thanks, thus making us aware of the importance of gratitude. The whole program was perfectly anchored by. Ms. W. Vibitha second year student teacher.
